mainThe Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law would like to express our profound sadness at the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Chris Lantz. We offer our sincerest condolences to his family, particularly his fiancee, Jillian (pictured above). Chris was a dedicated member of the journal, friend to everyone he met, diligent student, and exemplary person with an inspiring zest for life. Even as President of the Vanderbilt Bar Association, and active member of more law school organizations than any of us could count, Chris always made time for others. His death has left a gaping hole in our hearts and he will be dearly missed by everyone he touched with his warmth and humor. Please join us in cherishing Chris, whose obituary can be found here. He will not be forgotten.

I can’t think of anyone I’ve met at Vanderbilt, or ever, who could light up a room the way Chris could. Words just can’t express how much Chris positively affected the world, and how much the world has lost now that he’s gone.
